For this Mill Valley family, we take you to the top of Mt. Tam, where we have modestly updated certain system components over time, providing the owners with a comfortably evolving home technology experience. We started with an update to the lighting, and to the aging distributed audio system inherited with the home, by replacing  simple room volume controls with small crestron touchpanels capable of browsing and controlling Sonos and controlling the lights. The small processor and equipment updates required for this also afforded the ability to control a media room and hide away all the equipment and various remote controls... as well as providing a few extra amp channels to add a dash of music to the beautiful Bay Area view. In the most recent phase, the owners have opted for a more complete remodel, in which we've had the opportunity to deploy the highly polished Crestron Home OS, expanded the lighting controls, added motorized shades, improved the speaker layout and design for all rooms, and completely redesigned the media room with an LG OLED and Leon soundbar, concealed subwoofer, and Nakymatone Invisible surrounds, for a perfect balance of performance and aesthetics.
